What Makes Our School Unique?
Our students at JFK are provided positive, differentiated educational experiences that expand students' interests, develop their potential and encourage a sense of pride and belonging for all. Kennedy offers a full academic program where technology is used as a tool to enhance the effectiveness of the learning process. Our students are involved in "Hands on Science" learning experiments in the science lab taught by graduate students from Vanderbilt University and Meharry Medical College. We have a collective group of exceptionally talented, well-trained and dedicated teaching staff members. Coupled with a support staff of guidance counselors, secretaries, cafeteria staff, librarian, teacher assistants, custodians and bus drivers, you have a terrific group of dedicated professionals committed to doing what is best for students and who are always looking for ways to achieve that goal. Our faculty encourages our students to make the most of their middle school years. We realize that middle school is a time of transition and we work to ensure that all students make this transition smoothly. We are proud of the many accomplishments of the students at John F. Kennedy Middle School and invite you to visit us at any time. |
